This looks very much like a path at the end of my road leading to what I refer to “My Secret Garden” by the Thames or “The Isis” as it is called here. I sometimes spend time there sitting by the River which is very calming!
Sounds lovely. This pic is from the woodlands a few minutes walk from my home; it’s ancient woodland, so you can imagine what is going to be like in a month or two. The floor is covered with wildflowers and the bluebells are all ready to go.
I saw deer too on that walk, two muntjac who ambled away from me without much haste.
I can easily imagine what it will look like in a little while and it is so nice to have places like this to escape to sometimes. I just need to remember to do it more often!
